Help others and get a chance to win an iPad mini!
Share your advice to help others with similar needs in one of the proposed topics: diabetes, eating healthy, stress, being active, depression, or sleeping well. Once entered, you have a chance to win an iPad mini, courtesy of MediResource Inc. No purchase necessary.
The Help Others contest (the "Contest") is open to all Canadian residents.
Participants can enter the contest through the "Help others" box available on some pages of Medbroadcast.com, Chealth.canoe.ca and Bodyandhealth.canada.com, and must answer all questions asked.
The contest opens at 12:01 am EST March 21st, 2013 and runs until September 20th, 2013 (the "Contest Closing Date"). Entries must be received by the Contest Closing Date to be eligible. There is a limit of one entry per account/person/household/e-mail address.
By submitting a completed entry, each contestant is deemed to declare that he or she has fully complied with and agrees to be bound by these rules and regulations and agrees, on behalf of himself/herself and his or her heirs, executors, and administrators, to release the Contest Sponsor and its affiliates, agencies, Contest Judges and/or representatives from all liability, claims, and demands arising out of participation in the Contest or of the awarding or use of the prizes described herein.
By completing the entry and entering the Contest, each contestant consents to the use of his or her name, image, city of residence, and/or photographs without compensation in any publicity or advertising carried out in any medium by the Contest Sponsor and/or their respective agencies without further notification or compensation.
The Prize
Every entry completed is eligible to win one (1) Apple iPad mini 16GB valued at approximately $329. There is a limit of one entry per account/person/household/e-mail address.
One (1) prize is available to be won.
Prizes may not be exactly as shown in Contest publicity or promotional materials and Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value for any reason, including but not limited to production delays caused by labour disruptions, product shortages, or other unforeseen events. The prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable, have no cash surrender value, and must be accepted as awarded.
The Draw
All entries become the property of MediResource Inc. (the "Contest Sponsor") and will not be returned. The Contest Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or delayed entries. All entries submitted for redemption shall be subjected to verification and shall be null and void if they are found to have been tampered with, altered, forged, or obtained through an unauthorized source. By entering the Contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of the Contest judging organization (the "Contest Judges"), which are final in all respects.
The prize winner(s) will be randomly drawn by the Contest Judges one week after Contest Closing Date at 789 Don Mills Rd., Suite 400, Toronto, Ontario, from among all correct entries received. The first single (1) correct entry drawn will be eligible to win one (1) prize. The odds of winning are dependent on the number of correct submissions.
The selected entrants will be contacted via e-mail within seven (7) days after the draw. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted within seven (7) days of the draw or does not meet all of the eligibility conditions described in these rules and regulations, he/she will not be eligible to win the prize and another entrant will be randomly selected and contacted in the manner described above until a winner is announced.
Selected entrants must complete and sign a Declaration and Liability Release Form (i) confirming compliance with and agreement to be bound by these Contest rules and regulations and (ii) releasing the Contest Sponsor and its directors, officers, dealers, partners, and employees from any and all liability, claims, and demands arising out of participation in the Contest or of the awarding or use of the prizes described herein. The Declaration and Liability Release Form will be sent to the selected entrant by e-mail or fax and must be returned within 48 hours of its receipt. The prize will be distributed 2 to 4 weeks following the receipt of the winner's duly completed Declaration and Liability Release Form.
Eligibility
The participants must have reached the age of majority in his/her province or territory of residence where this Contest is open. Contest is subject to all federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Employees of the Contest Sponsor and its advertising and promotional agents, Contest Judges, prize suppliers, any other agent or representative of the Contest Sponsor, and the immediate family members and all persons with whom any of the foregoing are domiciled are not eligible to enter the Contest.
Liability Release
By participating in this Contest, all entrants (including the winner) agree to release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsor, the Contest Judges, their respective affiliates, franchisees, advertising and promotional agencies and any of their respective agents, officers, directors, partners, employees, and representatives from any and all liability, claims and demands whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to any person or property arising from or in connection with, either directly or indirectly, (i) the awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any of the prizes or parts thereof awarded pursuant to the Contest, or (ii) the participation in the Contest or any prize-related activities, including but not limited to traveling to or from any prize-related activity.
General
Subject to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux's approval in Quebec, Contest Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend this Contest in whole or in part or to amend the Contest rules if for any reason the Contest cannot be run as planned. In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded.
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
By entering the Contest, contestants agree to the Contest Sponsor's use of their personal information for the administration of this Contest.
This Contest is subject to all federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. The contest is void where prohibited by law.
